Tailored care providing support and purpose
Magnolia Crossing offers each resident the personal care they need to continue to age in place with grace and dignity. Our unique resident assessment provides the foundation for our individual care plans, which are carried out by both the resident and staff to facilitate maximum functioning.
Assisted Living at Magnolia Crossing
An assisted living residence is a senior living option that provides personal care and supportive services to individuals who need assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs). Activities of daily living include:
- Bathing
- Eating
- Grooming
- Managing medications, on schedule and the right dosage
- Toileting
- Managing incontinence
We offer private units at Magnolia Crossing, each complete with its own private bathroom, wood grain laminate flooring, large windows with blinds, closet, individual heating and AC unit, and emergency pull cords in the bathroom and living areas. Potential residents will be able to choose a unit by location and size. And of course, residents are encouraged to bring their favorite furniture, artwork, and décor to make their unit their home.
Visitors are welcome to join their loved one for a meal or stay the night. A nominal fee is charged for dining.
Hospice Care Options
Residents of our community who need hospice care in assisted living can receive this care through a third-party provider. Our team will work with the hospice provider chosen by the family and can assist with a list of local providers.
Requirements
Seniors who have trouble completing two or more ADLs (activities of daily living skills) are candidates for assisted living. An assessment will be conducted by our team of professionals and the potential resident’s physician will be asked to fill out a questionnaire based on the resident’s current status and prior history. Once the needs are assessed, and the potential resident is determined to need assisted living, a meeting will take place to discuss the assessment and the best way to transition into our community at Magnolia Crossing.
Make Our Community Your Home
The first step to becoming a resident of Magnolia Crossing is to fill out an application for an assessment. Once the assessment has been completed, and the potential resident is qualified based on health-care status, the Magnolia Crossing team of professionals will work with the resident and family to qualify any financial need. Magnolia Crossing is considered an affordable assisted living community with a select number of units available based on income qualifications.
